Within a facial treatment, the skin will first of all be cleansed with a cleanser appropriate to each skin type. The skin is then thoroughly toned and dried. Then I will perform extractions which will remove and black or heads that are able to be removed. The treatment will conclude by toning the skin, applying a treatment serum, and applying a moisturizer and SPF.
Yes, I do. In order to make it easier to determine what treatment is best for your skin, I created 2 services instead of several. This way there is no al a carte in my skin care services.
Express facial treatment and Signature facial includes chemical peel, microdermabrasion or enzyme peel.
Microdermabrasion is a facial procedure that uses topical and a diamond tip to remove the outer layer of skin.
This process works in a series to reduce hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and acne scars through exfoliation. You will leave the treatment with fresh and smooth skin, which will begin to repair and rejuvenate itself to treat a number of skin concerns.
Microdermabrasion is a safe and gentle procedure with no downtime. You will need to protect your skin with moisturizer and sunblock after the treatment and may experience mild redness and peeling.
However, you can return to normal activities immediately after the treatment.
Overall, microdermabrasion/ chemcial peel will reduce the appearance of wrinkles, remove acne scars, clear up blackheads, minimize the size of the pores, reduce sun damage, and even out the skin tone. They also help to boost collagen production to provide firming and toning to the complexion.

I used both hard and soft wax (strip wax). If you have a preference whether you like hard over soft wax or vis versa please let me know during your appointment.
Results vary from person to person and there are many factors on the results. Even though it can take up to 3-4 sessions for a completely smooth wax, regrowth can occur within 1-2 weeks the first 3-4 months. The more you wax and keeping a great skin care regimen in that particular area, the longer your results will last (4-6 weeks)
Gently exfoliate the area with a gentle body scrub 2 days before your appointment for best results.
Please take a shower/bath with warm water to open up the pores and wear loose clothing.
Even though you may be more sensitive during this time, you may wax during your menstrual. Please place in a new tampon right before your appointment.
Lifted skin or a burn can occur if you are on any of these medications. DISCONTINUE USE 7 DAYS BEFORE AND AFTER WAXING OF THE FOLLOWING: Retin-A, Adapalene, Alustra Avage,Avita, Differin, Duac, Epiduo, Isotretinoin, Renova, Tazarac, Tazarotene, Tretinoin, Ziana
STOP USING 1 YEAR PRIOR TO WAXING: Accutane and can only be waxed with a doctors note.
IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT ANY OF THESE MEDICATIONS/CREAMS, PLEASE CONSULT WITH YOUR DERMATOLOGIST BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Pain level varies per person.
After your 1st session and staying on a 4-6 week waxing schedule while exfoliating in between, the discomfort level will minimize each wax session.
